About this author

D.S. Nielsen was born in St. Johns AZ, a small town near the White Mountains. Many of his summers growing up were spent living on their ranch which his Great Grandfather homesteaded. With no TV, video games, and barely an AM station on the radio, he spent his free time using his imagination to travel to new and exciting places. His love for fantasy was ignited when his friend, Bob, introduced him to The Magician Apprentice. His love for the magical realm of fantasy grew until he decided to give back to the world of fantasy. His premier novel, The Blood Witch is the first book in the Blood Reign Chronicles, an epic dark fantasy tale. He now resides in northern California.
